Greetings, I am known as Sharaz to my computing friends, but in real life people call me Jonathan. I'm 33 years old, and I work in IT for an international advertising agency. I've been into computers since 1997, when I got my first Compaq Presario 4784 with Windows 95. That computer taught me how to fix computers, and its been a mile a minute ever since.
I've spent a great deal of time with open source operating systems over the past few years. I have a strong respect for Linux and the companies who take the time to produce their distributions, but my current love is for FreeBSD (from which this site runs). I also spend a good deal of time on the forums at http://www.openaddict.com, where I volunteer as a forum administrator. I really love the open source world because you can pick and choose exactly what and how your computer will run, and I sure plan to keep on with OSS for as long as I can see.
As far as contacting me, since I loathe email spam and therefore have chosen to not be allowed to be contacted via firstname.lastname@example.org (reject=550 5.2.1 <email@example.com>... Mailbox disabled for this recipient), I can be contacted via private message on the openaddict.com forums (registration required) or on AIM/Yahoo as LoudRedZ71, or on ICQ-8132754.
